This ad starts out with a woman in her house who has several allergies; indoors, outdoors, and pet. She supposedly takes this Zyrtec pill and all of a sudden the allergies are gone. I think its a great commercial, it really gets its point across to selling Zyrtec, and why not buy it she looks so happy and able to do all these things without a problem so the pill should work on me too. This commercial, however, uses the whole "myth" tactic by assuming all its viewers believe that medicine is a magical worker and gets rid of all your health problems just like that. For the most part I do think that's true, but there are consequences for some people.

All advertisements for allergy medications seem to follow the same formula. A person is stuck indoors, hopelessly stricken with seasonal allergies. Amazingly, after taking some life changing pill, the person suddenly feels like frolicking in meadows, smelling hundreds of flowers, and cuddling with an animal that would have previously made them break out in hives or swell up like a blow fish. However, even though this ad is not unique, it delivers its message succinctly and clearly.

This ad got its point across from the start. Do you have allergies? Does your life suck because of it? Well take this miracle drug and life will be awesome. It was like all the other medicine ads we see on tv. Does your life suck because you have this? well this makes that all better, now you're life is AMAZING! just insert whichever illness with whichever pill and thats basically every medicinal ad out there.

This commercial was very convincing. It was straight to the point by explaining how horrible allergies can be. One who suffers from allergies can connect with the "symptoms." Therefore, these people can look into the pill. They show that once people take the pill, life is happier and more enjoyable. All in all, this commercial used the right tactics to lure their viewers in buying the product.

Zyrtec is a medication for allergies. No matter it is indoor or outdoor allergies or pet alergy, all of them can be cured by Zyrtec. it also shows myth to audiences: if people have any problems, just take a pill, and all problems will go away.

This Zyrtec ad does a good job on showing that the pill works for every kind allergies by flashing indoor, outdoor and dog images. This ad also show that American people have thi myth that every problem we have can go away with a pill. I used Zyrtec for many years and it is a pretty strong drug. It causes drowness and other kind of disconform when taking this kind of medicine for the first time. It also have negative effects on your body if taking it for long time. I believe that these type of negative effects should be stated on the commercial.

This ad does it's job from the get go, but it does promise too much of the medicine. It states that Zyrtec will cure all allergies! But most allergies can't be cured. Just suppressed enough that they aren't a big deal. And most allergy medicines only deal with one or two allergy symptoms, not all of them. If there was an actual allergy medication that truly cured every single allergy, they wouldn't have to advertise once and then they would sell so much drugs that there wouldn't be a sneeze for miles.

Firstly, this ad shows a women that is allergic to indoor and outdoor allergies. I have actually tried this medication with my allergies and it really helped. The downside of medication ads is that many are lead to believe that just by taking a specific pill it will instantly help, but however to agree with Atara , they have their consequences.

The myth that no matter what ailment you have there is a treatment, a cure for it is at work in this commercial. The commercial uses a female spokesperson wearing bright colors and a creative background, comprising of both outdoor and indoor scenery, to sell its product. The bright colors send a message of happiness and peacefulness while the spokeswoman informs the viewer of the product, which is this miracle allergy drug. While the woman is talking about the benefits of the drug her dog is there as well. The woman is calm and has no symptoms of allergies, which cause the viewer to say "wow she has no indoor, outdoor or pet allergies, Zyrtec must really work".
